Directors Report (Desktop)
What it is: A standard report within the Annual Financial Statements that describes the directors' view of the company's performance and position — provided as an illustrative template that can be tailored for each client.
What it's for
Many reporting frameworks and company laws require a Directors' Report to accompany the financial statements. Draftworx provides a ready-made template with standard paragraphs covering the typical content areas. You can show or hide individual sections and edit the wording to match the specific circumstances of each client.
How to do it
Editing the Directors' Report (DX111)
- Open the Directors' Report sheet in the Annual Financial Statements.
- To show or hide a paragraph, expand or collapse the grouping for that section (click the grouping control on the left margin). Only the sections that are expanded will appear in the printed document.
- For sections that are visible, click into the cells and edit the wording directly to reflect the client's specific situation.
Tip: Refer also to the articles on Show and Hide Rows and Opening and Closing Notes for additional ways to manage what appears in the final output.
